Limnad, Sparkling Riesling, 2020 ROB evident mineralityLimnad is a sparkling wine label created by Nancy Irelan and Mike Schnelle, owners of Red Tail Ridge Winery on Seneca Lake. Nancy earned her PhD from UC Davis working with Carole Meredith, spent 12 years at Gallo as VP of Viticulture and Enology R&D, then moved to the Finger Lakes in 2002. Red Tail Ridge became New York's first LEED Gold certified winery and was a James Beard semi finalist for Outstanding Wine Producer in 2019 and 2020. The name
