a little balsamic and medicinal
Quite brambly summer-berry and dark-plum aromas with a thread of violets and cassis
with super well-integrated tannins and a fresh and clean finish
green touch lends vibrance to a moderately long finish
The fruit comes through slowly and has a way to go in its development
Donelan Venus White, Sonoma County, USA 2018 Chateau Cos Labory a little balsamic and medicinalThis is 95% Roussanne and 5% Viognier, the grapes grown in both Bennett and Green valleys and the wine aged in neutral oak. Viscous on the palate, it offers earthy, balanced flavors of honeysuckle, peach and lychee, with bright, underlying acidity providing consistent lift. The finish is creamy and full. 93 Pts Wine Enthusiast
